| TG: running out of time! |
After 5 days of intense mental preparation, sleep depravation and cramming in late night laps of the Lough to their busy training schedule, TG's only chance to sit down and relax was during the end-of-year written papers that commenced some time last week. The marathon training is well underway. A good showing from TG at recent events in Ballybunion, Cobh and Rathcormac sees them well on track for meeting the physical demands of what is being dubbed Challenge52 in June! With 52.4 miles to be grafted out between them it is likely to be a considerably more difficult task than Challenge51 which took place in JB Spillanes house last friday where Gavin floored 51 bottles of budweiser after a Ceasar Salad in Cissie Youngs. Murphy is currently being investigated by Revenue.ie after leaks that he shelled out over 6 billion snoots to a russian cosmonaut to design his marathon shoes on the moon! Late last night he made himself available for comment outside Jumbo's Chinese takeaway in the Ardmanning. He claimed that this was just a big mix up, 'I have first cousins from Vietnam who kindly offered to make them for me and there hasn't been any talk of zero cavity(sic) training since i didn't win the slogan competition for the IDSA Ball in February'.
