| TG clearly devastated about the raffle |
Having awoken this morning face down on a timber floor in wind swept Eagle Valley and very much unable to achieve RCP to ICP slide it wasn't long before many of the happy fundraising memories delivered at the previous nights Dent Ball cheered up this unnamed member of Team Gavin! As much craic as it was collecting money for the annual Dental Outreach Raffle a few harsh lessons were learned. Not having any idea of the prises on offer was the first mistake and then agreeing to Dr Mellan being the top prise to get the dental nurses on board proved to be the second albeit a lucrative one. Finally not actually having the raffle tipped the scales and things began to get so messy that no one really knows what happened and spent the entire next day on Facebook trying to figure it out. The social networking rumour mill leads us to inconclusive evidence on the matter but it seems that the gardai were called late into the proceedings only to be refused entry on arrival at the residents bar on account of not being residents. At which point they left quietly so as not to interrupt the speeches which finished at about 2am!
